This is Bianca Caampued.
The last time I saw Bianca she took me to some bar somewhere in the LES after hitting Lit. In the 5 or 6 blocks, I was already sort of drunk by the time we got out, she waved, said hi or held a conversation with at least 15 people on the street. I met more people that night than I had in my multiple visits to NY.
You know how there’s always someone at every party who seems to know absolutely everyone?
That’s her.
She’s the smallest, most highly excitable, high powered shotgun NY has ever seen.
She’s everywhere at the same time, rocking out.
And trust me, she rocks out like no one else I know.
That’s Bianca.

Our world is shaped in a way where talent only meets need. A world in which we are taught to ignore whatever we understand to be beautiful or brilliant only to infuse ourselves with whatever is in between the commonalities of whatever ties us together.

This week I will introduce you to people that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in the last few years.
5 people that are not in my day to day life, but do, say or enact on small things that I feel have affected the way I do or think about my life and its natural course.
Some more, some less and some (the ones I met briefly and once) through sheer coincidence.
Consider this an experiment on how my brain connects the dots in my life.
